Greg Abbott Loses CPAC Poll, Finishes Below Mitt Romney and Chris Christie

CPAC, the Conservative Political Action Conference, was held in Orlando, Florida, and it's widely regarded as the premier gathering of conservative Republicans in America. The conference took a poll of the attendees, and when asked who they supported for president in 2024 - after taking Trump from the possible nominees, Ron DeSantis and Kristi Noem topped the list. Texas Governor Greg Abbott finished dead last just above Charlie Baker, governor of Massachusetts. Even Chris Christie and Mitt Romney finished ahead of Abbott. It's likely that his COVID policies have killed his presidential hopes.
